Formed non-profit www.RvsWithoutBorders.org to match loaner and donor RVs with families who lost homes in California wildfires, and operated NPO in response to 2015 and 2017 disasters.
Our 1stRVs arrived before FEMA both years. After hitting endless local & FEMA hurdles despite a proclamation from the CA Governor, we assisted local governments in understanding how to better integrate RVs into disaster resilience strategies. Donated my own RV after the 2017 fires to a family with 2 year-old triplets. How could I resist?!
